Lubbock police report a 3-year-old toddler died from a self inflicted gunshot to the head.
Police officers were called out to a residence at 1803 76th Street just before six Saturday night.
LPD reports the child reportedly found a family member's gun in the home and accidentally shot himself in the head.
The child was transported to UMC where he was pronounced dead.
