A former Levelland youth minister is sentenced to four years in federal prison for attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor.

Trevor Jacob Fortner, 25, pleaded guilty in July. According to court documents, he responded to an online advertisement posted by an undercover agent posing as a 15-year old girl.

Fortner admits he sent a sexually explicit picture to the "decoy" via email and requested she do the same.

Fortner was a youth minister in Levelland and had worked in the graphics department of a church in Lubbock.
