Honey Elementary students were able to learn some necessary tools before squeezing those lemons for Lemonade Day. Several students received business pointers from Lubbock developer George McMahan.

McMahan gave students insight about the number one rule in real estate, location.

"They already had some great ideas," he said. "I maybe was a little catalyst to get them to thinking, but these kids are smart. They already figured out what they are going to do."

Third-grader at Honey Elementary Luke Welch said, "Last time me and my mom did lemonade because we helped the food charity. They didn't have very much food so we gave some to the Salvation Army and the food charity."

There's still time for your child to register and learn all they need to know to participate in Lemonade Day on May 4.
