Below is a statement released from Lubbock County Judge Tom Head:
“I have been faithful to my solemn vow to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, regardless of who is in the White House. Even though I am an elected official, I am not an eloquent speaker and regret any negative publicity for our community and the Commissioner’s Court; however, the 1st Amendment allows even judges to speak freely about our rights under 2nd Amendment – I believe both the media and voting public support this right. I will continue to faithfully serve Lubbock County and pray for our country and its leaders.”
We will have more on this story tonight on the News at Nine.
