She was once one of the most recognized personalities on network morning news. Award-winning journalist Joan Lunden was in Lubbock Thursday. Lunden took part of the distinguished speaker series at the Lubbock Women's Club. She is a best-selling author, and served as a host on 'Good Morning America' for nearly two-decades. From Presidents to the Olympics Lunden has covered it all.
Her message is about finding balance for the modern woman.

"For years, years, and years, women said we want it all," she said. "Well, 'Hello', now you have it all, and how do you do it all? I think that is the dilemma today for women. They are just stressed out and exhausted, and very often feeling guilty about trying to be at two places at once. So, that is the modern woman's challenge."

Lunden, a mother of seven, is also an entrepreneur and a frequent visitor to Texas for speaking events.
