Four Lubbock Fire Department members visited Waco Wednesday night to memorialize those who perished in the West, TX fertilizer plant explosion.

Among the mourners at the Ferrell Center on the Baylor Campus were the president and first lady.

Ten of the 15 people that died due to the fertilizer plant explosion were first responders.

Commander Eddie Kirpatrick from Lubbock says it's an honor to salute their fallen colleagues.

"Our guys are going to represent the citizens of Lubbock," Kirpatrick said, "to let them in West know that people in west Texas do care about what's going on throughout the state."
