Liberal or conservative is not as big an issue to me as it was in the past. I just can't stand those who refuse to give me the truth. Either by deliberate deception, or by refusing to reply to questions. Once Lubbock went wet, it showed that this is no longer a conservative city. However, the voters may be conservative, and the computer printouts claiming election results could be fictitious. Without paper ballots that can me verified by honest men, we will never truly know the results of any election, or the will of the people, whether they are conservative or liberal.

Great comment, Liberty seeker....not sure what else we could expect having such a liberal council in such a conservative city!

I pleaded with the mayor soon after he took office to get Dumbauld out of city offices. I guess after his cardiac arrest, he may be able to see that the city will run better with her out of city hall. The next step is to remove her from the payroll, and replace her with someone who will clean out those on the payroll who were not lawfully qualified to be employed by the city, but weren't terminated. If the corruption is removed, the curse may be lifted and the blessing of being allowed to live peacefully might return. I neither allow, nor disallow, blessing or curse is depends whether officials continue to serve the father of lies (and excessive fees) or serve the public.
