Lubbock Christian University students reached a milestone by walking across the stage. LCU had two commencement ceremonies. The ceremony for graduate students was Friday at the Mcdonald Moody auditorium.
The undergraduate commencement took place on Saturday morning. Humanities and political science student, Kristen Vanderplas, from Lubbock, was selected as the speaker.
President Tim Perrin introduced the featured speaker, judge James O. Browning. Browning serves as a federal judge for the United States district court for the district of New Mexico.
There were 193 undergraduate candidates and 49 graduate candidates.
