A local health clinic is now able to provide increased assistance to disadvantaged children, thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Lubbock Area Foundation.
The Lubbock Children's Health Clinic said those funds will go towards purchasing prescriptions and laboratory services for its pediatric patients.
The clinic has been operating for 74 years, meeting the health care needs of disadvantaged children in Lubbock and the surrounding counties.
