Business Expo allows local vendors to network

Business was booming at the Civic Center Thursday. More than 8,000 participants took in the sights and networking during the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce business expo.

More than 200 vendors manned their booths featuring a multitude of products and services. Guy Dorman was there.

"I think it's a great source for information to find out about the different work contracts in Lubbock and what everybody has to offer." Dorman said.

Danny Soliz had a big part in putting the expo together and making sure it ran well.

he event for the businesses here in Lubbock, they're local, a lot of them are local businesses." Soliz said. "It gives them an opportunity to network with one another and it helps the economy here in Lubbock."
