Lubbock received a visit from royalty today.
Burger King's head honcho, or The King as he is referred to by his subjects stopped in the Hub City to surprise an unsuspecting student, Aaron Young, with a XBOX 360 Kinect.
Young said he was on his way home to Austin when he stopped by the Burger King on University Avenue. The King and his court have been traveling far and wide to drop off the gaming systems.
A Burger King spokesperson said The King has been hard at work all month and still has a few more stops to make.
"The King has been going across the country the entire month of November. We started on the East Coast in New York City and made our way to San Francisco, and now we're in Lubbock, Texas and by next Monday we will have gone about 7,000 miles."
The King is headed back East to visit more Burger Kings and deliver more goods to hungry patrons.
