One group new to Lubbock hopes to unite foodies and wine-lovers for a community serving cause.
The Wine and Food Foundation of Texas is launching a High Plains Chapter.
The membership nonprofit gives members a chance to meet others who share the passion for food and wine.
This new local chapter gives back to the community through charitable donations, like the South Plains Food Bank, and scholarships granted.
Membership levels include student, individual, couples and community partners.
Members enjoy discounts at participating Community Partners and access to exclusive Wine and Food Foundation events.
