Jury selection underway in captal murder trial

A lengthy jury selection process underway for a Lubbock capital murder trial.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Brian Suniga, if he's convicted of killing 26 year-old David Rowser during a robbery at One Guy from Italy at 50th and Quaker in 2011.

Suniga and co-defendant Sesilio Lopez junior, are accused of shooting Rowser when he crossed their paths as they were leaving the restaurant with a stolen tip jar.

The suspects are accused of firing two shots into Rowser's chest. Police say They fled the scene and were later arrested on just outside of Abilene.
A trial date has not been set for Lopez.
