A former prison guard has been sentenced to ten months in another federal prison for taking a bribe.
Officer Johnny Haynes agreed to smuggle drugs into the Dalby Correctional Facility in Post for an inmate, and accepted $750 and an ounce of marijuana from an undercover federal agent with the Inspector General.
Haynes pleaded guilty to the crime in May.
U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings recommends Haynes serve his time in the federal prison in Seagoville.
