Police have released more details on a crash between a motorcycle and a pick-up from Wednesday morning. The motorcycle rider is identified as 46-year-old Heath Dale Dean. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The collision happened at the intersection of 94th Street and Indiana Avenue. Police say the motorcycle was heading south on Indiana when a pick-up headed east on 94th failed to yield the right-of-way. After the impact, the truck went into a nearby fence.

Police say they found a helmet at the scene, but they do not believe Dean was wearing it at the time of the crash.

The driver of the pick-up, G.Q. Nell, suffered minor injuries.

Manslaughter. Period. Not yielding the right of way, which is an intentional act and someone dying from it...well, that says manslaughter to me.
