Organizers for the South Plains Honor Flight are hoping for a big welcome home tonight as the veterans return from our nation's capitol.
137 service members from World War II and the Korean War made the trip with their guardians to see the monuments in their honor. They didn't have to pay a cent for the trip.
The veterans are scheduled to arrive at Lubbock's airport around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. You're invited to welcome them home at the airport.
