Hobbs Police report an argument turns to a 22-year-old shooting and killing his stepfather. Police say it happened just after noon Friday.
When officers arrived at a home on Dal Paso Street, they found 47-year-old Frankie Vine with a gun shot wound.
He was transported to Lea Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
Police say 22-year-old Keith Haney shot Vine, after an argument.
Haney is in custody charged with murder. No bond has been set.
