Hobbs Police are investigating the murder of Antonio Ortiz, Jr., 37, who died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers detained Johnny Hall, 48, also of Hobbs, at the scene. He's being held on $1,010,000 bond and is charged with first degree murder and attempted robbery.
