Fire at Lubbock duplex leaves two homeless

A fire at a duplex in the 5000 block of 27th Street early Tuesday morning left two people homeless. 

The fire, which happened around 1 a.m., was categorized as a two-alarm fire, due to its proximity to other structures.

Officials said the cause of the fire was accidental. There were no injuries reported.
