DPS investigators are looking into what caused a crash in Lynn County that killed a driver Thursday night.
It happened just south of Tahoka on U.S. 87. Troopers say Daniel Clayton Pennell, 55, of Midland, veered from the northbound lanes, over the embankment, and into the southbound lanes. That's where a semi struck his vehicle on the driver's side.
Pennell was pronounced dead at the scene.
