She says she met Kendrick two days before Christmas 10 years ago when she was only 18.

She, her sister and a friend wanted to leave the Midnight Rodeo, a bar no longer in business, and go to a 21 and up club in the Depot District.

Kendrick reportedly overheard the 18-year-old's concern about gaining access into the night spot prompting him to introduce himself to the young woman as "David."

He told her he could get her into the bar without difficulty because he knew the bouncer at the door.

She says the man she knew as "David" then offered her a ride, an offer she didn't refuse, but should have because that ride she says turned into hours of terror.

"It was like went from being really nice, really sweet to very violent," says the accuser.

The young woman never made it to the Depot District that night. Instead she claims Kendrick parked his pickup truck along a dark street near a park jabbing her with a knife and threatening her with a gun before raping her repeatedly.

"He kept telling me he was going to kill me and take me to the east side and let the people at the east side finish me off and that he knew the perfect place to bury my body, that he was going to kill me. He told me he was going to kill me and he repeated that many, many times," says the accuser.

She says she eventually escaped by convincing him to let her lean out of the vehicle because she felt ill. She bolted and ran for help.

The young woman reported the incident to police but later dropped charges to avoid reliving the horror of that night.

She says detectives identified her attacker as Dustin Thomas Kendrick, a name forced to the front of her mind by recent headlines.

"I feel like I owe this woman something. I'm the only one that probably knows what she went through," says the woman.

LPD SWAT team arrested Kendrick in late April in connection with the strangulation death of Tori Pennington after the oldest of her three children discovered her body on the first floor of their town home.

This accuser says she feels she could've prevented Pennington's murder if she would've sought justice 10 years ago.

"I only hope that me and her are the only ones and I really hope that this doesn't happen to anybody else," says the woman.

This supposed victim claims one of Kendrick's family members helped him develop an alibi during the time of the reported attack claiming he had remained at home all night.
