A Lubbock insurance agent posts bond after police say he admits to depositing money from customers into his personal account.

48 year old Denton Rose is accused of felony misappropriation of funds. Police reports indicate a Farmers Insurance customer complaint prompted the company to conduct an audit of Rose's records.

According to police reports the audit concludes Rose began depositing checks into his own account in July 2005 and changed customer's addresses to a post office box so the suspect would receive the past due premium notices.

Rose is suspected of stealing nearly $17,000 over three years.
