He has been a suspect since day one. LPD have now arrested 23-year-old Danny Ray Martinez for the murder of 34-year-old Eddie Moreno.
Investigators said the two men are cousins.
Sargeant Jonathan Stewart said Moreno was struck in the head Saturday during an altercation at his home at the Gates Apartments in the 5000 block of Avenue W.
Moreno died later at the hospital.
The charge against Martinez is murder.
