A country music star pays tribute to Lubbock's very own, Buddy Holly.
Three-time Grammy nominee and multi-award winner, David Frizzell, played some of Holly's hits on Tuesday, that appear on his Buddy Holly Country Tribute album.
Many fans of the legend came to the Buddy Holly center to watch Frizzel try to duplicate the singers' persona along with adding a bit of himself.
The Buddy Holly tribute album is set to be released on what would have been Holly's 78th birthday, September 7 2014.
"We got a chance from the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation to do this tribute to Buddy, like I said it started out to be 10 or 12 songs...14 maybe, 21 songs later we just had to quit," said David Frizzell.
