Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a Sunday morning shooting at the Royal Palace Night Club.

Dajmyn Poindexter, 19, has been charged with aggravated assault in the incident that left two people wounded outside the night club in the 3500 block of Avenue Q.

Investigators said a fight started inside the night club early Sunday. The fight continued outside and someone fired into a crowd. 

A responding officer treated one of the victims, Earle Cameron, 21, until EMS arrived. The second victim  was identified as Misty Johnson, 26. Both sustained serious injuries.
