Police arrest suspect in fatal stabbing

A man is dead and another in jail following a fatal stabbing Wednesday afternoon in Central Lubbock.

Police say 32-year-old David Vincent Martinez was stabbed by 35-year-old Joshua Bulls at a residence in the 3000 block of 35th St. Martinez, who'd been stabbed in the neck, ran from the residence and was followed into the street by Bulls.

The report says the two were located by police in the 2800 block of 35th. Martinez was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Bulls was arrested at the scene and is charged with murder.
