Investigators have credited the prison system tracking dogs with finding a Seagraves man accused of leaving the scene of a weekend traffic crash that killed five people.

DPS Sergeant Bryan Witt said dogs from the Jim Rudd Transfer Facility in Brownfield led troopers from the crash site, northeast of Seagraves, to a semi-trailer where 24-year-old Ramon Aguilar was found hiding hours later.

Aguilar remains jailed on more than $2 million bond on multiple charges, including intoxication manslaughter.
