Homeowners in the Ransom Canyon area are getting ready for a lot of visitors.

They're decking their halls and opening their doors for the 29th annual Ransom Canyon Tour of Homes.

This year features the impressive "Rock House" hand-made of 460 tons of rock.

The Rock House is decorated by four area service organizations: Child Evangelism Fellowship, Hospice of Lubbock, St. Benedict's and World Vision.

Visitors can also tour three other elaborately decorated homes in the area as well as the Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel.

Proceeds benefit the Memorial Chapel. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the service group with the best decorated tree, voted on by visitors.

For ticket locations and more information, visit the Ransom Canyon Chapel website.
