A passenger on a motorcycle involved in a wreck on Saturday has died. The collision occurred at FM 2378 and CR 7100 near Wolfforth. 22-year-old John Gonzales was critically injured at the scene, and pronounced dead Monday.

The crash happened when a Kubota Mule tractor, or a 'Gator', ran out of gas. The three people in that vehicle began to push the Gator off to the side of the road. Sergeant Brian Witt reported that's when two people on a motorcycle came down the road. They saw the Gator and tried to stop but slammed into it. Both men were ejected.

The driver, Zachary Craven, 17, and passenger John Gonzales, 22, were taken to a local hospital. Craven sustained minor injuries. Gonzales was pronounced dead Monday.

Witt said Craven could face charges if he did not have a license to drive the motorcycle.
