Police identify the victim in a nightclub shooting as 50-year-old Daniel Jimenez of Lubbock. It happened at Wolfy's club in the 1800 block of Clovis Road just after midnight Thursday.
Police say Jimenez entered the bar wanting to speak to an employee. When the two of them went into the office Jimenez pulled a handgun from his waistband. The employee wrestled the weapon away and shot Jimenez dead.
No arrests have been made at this point, and investigators are still interviewing witnesses.
