A longtime community member from Wolfforth has passed away. Jose Rosales was appointed to the Wolfforth City Council where he served multiple appointments since the 1970's.He paved the way for the establishment of the Wolfforth EMS and fire departments. Rosales was with the Wolfforth Fire Department for 26 years as a fireman, captain, president of the fire department, fire chief, and the last three years as a fire marshal.
A fleet of cars and fire trucks rolled through the streets of Wolfforth honoring him. Rosales was 74-years-old.
