Detectives were back in Mackenzie Park where a body was discovered Wednesday. Investigators were mapping the area Thursday morning.

LPD reports a person on a walk discovered the body located on a hillside at the north end of the park just after 5:30 pm Wednesday.

LPD Sergeant Jonathan Stewart said the body appears to have been there for quite some time. Investigators said the victim could be Tiffany Groves, who has been missing since February 24th.

"The deceased person located yesterday (Wednesday) we are looking into the possibility that it may be related to Tiffany's case," he said.  "That is not a determination we can make at this time. This is a possibility of one of many that we are looking into right now."

An autopsy is pending to determine identification and cause and manner of death. LPD is working on some new info related to Grove's disappearance. Police released a photo, taken of Groves at the Lucky Mart convenience store at 2012 North Ash.

On February 24th around 6:40 p.m., which police say is the night she went missing.

Lucky Mart is about a mile from her home. Groves was reported missing on March 2nd.
