A collision between a pick-up and a semi killed two in Lamb County Wednesday morning.

According to the Department of Public Safety, two vehicles were traveling westbound on Highway 84 at about 8 a.m. when the semi tailgated the pick-up.

The driver of the 18-wheeler then over-corrected and the truck rolled into a ditch.

The cab of the semi caved in, killing 33-year old Mario Tremayne Johnson of Dallas and his passenger, 43-year-old Julio Cesar Villegas of Irving.

DPS said the two were team truck drivers.

The driver of the pick-up, 78-year-old Eugene Coleman of Anton, was not injured.
