We have seen spotty showers and thunderstorms for the past couple of days and once again we are seeing some this afternoon. This activity will continue into the evening before eventually ending overnight. You can track all the storms with our live streaming radar below.

We will have similar conditions through Thursday with morning temperatures starting off in the low 70s and afternoon temperatures warming to the mid 90s. We stay under a partly cloudy sky with a 20% chance for isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening. If a shower or storm develops directly over you, you could possibly see up to a quarter of an inch of rain, but since this activity will be so hit or miss we don’t expect any widespread beneficial rainfall. Below is the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center’s forecast for rainfall totals for tonight through Thursday night.

High pressure will move back overhead by the end of the week, then our sky will clear out and temperatures warm back into the upper 90s and 100s for the weekend.

I will see you tonight on the News at Nine with the latest forecast and Matt will be in first thing tomorrow morning.
