A few lucky folks saw some rain last night as severe thunderstorms rolled through our northwestern counties. Here is a look at some rainfall totals.
There was a big temperature spread across the region today, both with the morning lows and the afternoon highs.
This was due to the division of moisture across the region this morning and then a cold front that moved through this afternoon. The cold front has set us up with breezy winds and cooler air which will stick around through the weekend. Winds stay breezy on Saturday as we top out in the low 50s, and the winds will calm Saturday night allowing us to cool down to the low to mid 20s Sunday morning. For Super Bowl Sunday we will stay cool as we only warm up to the upper 40s.
We stay with below average temperatures next week with partly cloudy skies just about every day. A few models are suggesting a chance for rain during the middle of next week, but there is not enough guidance for us to jump on board just yet. We will continue to monitor the setup throughout the weekend.
Have a good Weekend everybody! Join me tonight on the News at Nine and Chase will be with you this weekend.
