The clock may soon stop ticking for "24." With ratings falling and the series' budget not doing the same, the network may decide to pull the power on the Jack Bauer hour.

"Avatar" goes begging and "The Hurt Locker" reigns supreme. Justice may have been done Sunday night at the Oscars, but the show itself had its share of ups, downs and time-wasters.
