We are wrapping up another warm day across the South Plains with temperatures around the average values both this morning and afternoon. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

We saw an increase of clouds this afternoon but unfortunately those clouds did not produce any rain for us. That could change tomorrow though as an upper-level disturbance moves overhead from the Texas Coast. That being said our chances for rain are not great but a few isolated storms can not be ruled out especially across our southern counties.

High pressure will move closer to us at the end of the week which will help to clear out our sky and warm our temperatures into the mid to upper 90s. The high pressure system looks to sit around or directly overhead of us into the beginning of next week.

I hope you had a great weekend and great start to the workweek! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Matt will have a full forecast update for you tomorrow morning.
