Happy Friday! It was a nice end to the workweek with comfortable below average temperatures both this morning and afternoon. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.
We will have similar conditions to today through the weekend. Clouds will stick around overnight and tomorrow but then should start to clear on Sunday with a very slight chance for rain around the state line but even that chance doesn’t look too good. Temperatures will stay below average, in the mid 60s in the morning and mid 80s in the afternoon.
High pressure will get closer to us at the beginning of next week which will help clear out the sky and warm our temperatures back to near average values. It currently looks like a cold front will move down and stall out just to the north of us during the middle of next week. Along the front a few showers and thunderstorms could form and drift down into our northern counties. This is far from certainty though and a lot can change between now and then so stay tuned!
I hope you had a great day and have a great weekend! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Caitlin will have all the forecast updates for you this weekend.
