We again saw a few showers and thunderstorms early this morning although they were mostly held across the Rolling Plains. These storms dumped quite a bit of rain again but unfortunately most of us missed out. Click here for a look at the 24 hour rainfall totals from the West Texas Mesonet Sites. Click here for a look at the 72 hour rainfall totals.

We have a slight chance for a few showers and thunderstorms this evening, mainly around the New Mexico/Texas state line. Storms formed in the higher terrain of New Mexico this afternoon but are moving virtually due south. You can monitor the storm movement with our live streaming radar below.
The chance for storms this weekend diminishes although it is not zero. High pressure will move closer to us and storm motion will turn more to the south/southwest. Temperatures stay around average with morning lows in the upper 60s and afternoon highs in the lower 90s. This trend will continue through next week.

I hope you have a great weekend! Join us tonight after the NFL game for the latest News, Weather and Sports. Caitlin will have all the forecast updates for you this weekend.
