The bad news is that it’s Monday and the weekend is over but the good news is that the gorgeous weather from this weekend will continue this week. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

The next couple of days we will have almost identical conditions to today with morning lows in the mid 50s and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s. Sunny conditions will continue until the end of the week when moisture increases across the region leading to more clouds in the sky and milder morning temperatures.

It currently looks like a dryline will setup on Friday ahead of a cold front that will move through. A dryline is a boundary which separates dry air to the west and humid air to the east and as this boundary moves across the region it could spark off a few thunderstorms. That being said, the rain chances don’t currently look that good with the dryline but slightly better once the cold front moves through on Saturday. This is still about five days away so we will continue to fine tune the forecast as we get closer.

The cold front looks to cool us down by about ten degrees with temperatures only warming into the upper 70s and lower 80s this weekend.

I hope you had a great weekend and good start to this week! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Matt will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
