HOTTER NEXT FEW DAYS: There's quite a bit of humidity in the air here this morning, dew point in the 60s. It's a clear sky with upper-level high pressure stretching from the Desert Southwest and northern Mexico here to Texas. This means it'll be sunny and hot next few days.

Today we should make it to around 95, wind breezy S-SE 12-22mph. The dew point will drop off some, but we're still going to have pretty good moisture in the air. But that upper-level high pressure means downward motion, working against clouds forming. We'll likely see just a few fair-weather clouds next few days.

We're forecasting 101 tomorrow, 100 Thursday, 99 Friday for Lubbock. These aren't records but definitely a hot stretch of days on the way.

LATER THIS WEEK: The upper-ridge should weaken some and an upper disturbance will approach from the west. The GFS and European solutions are still pretty different, but both knock the temperature down. While both have an idea of some rain we just aren't seeing the consistency in the guidance for a good chance for rain at this point. The weather is looking good for an NCAA Super Regional at Dan Law Field. We'll give you specific forecast information when everything is scheduled...exciting days for Texas Tech Baseball and Lubbock.

Have a great day. Rudy will update this forecast later this afternoon.
