THIS MORNING: There are some patches of fog around the area, but nothing too terribly dense. Temperature is in the 20s.
TODAY: A nice mild afternoon upcoming, the SW breeze will pick up 12-22mph with higher gusts. It'll be mostly sunny all across the region, 50s and low 60s common across Texas. Here is our area forecast:
COOLER FOR CHRISTMAS: A cold front will move through late tonight, ushering in a NE wind and cooler air. It won't change the sky condition much, still mostly sunny tomorrow. But it'll drop the high to the upper 40s tomorrow, NE wind 5-12mph.
REST OF THE WEEK: A day-to-day warming trend Thursday through Saturday, reaching the low 60s by Saturday with a gusty SW wind. The next cold front should move through some time late Saturday or early Sunday. We still don't see any rain here for the next week.
TRAVEL OUTLOOK: This is about as good as it gets for Christmas travel. Main travel issues should be across the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest/Great Lakes today. But across the Southern Plains it's clear. Click here
