MORE HOT WEATHER: The upper-level ridge is right over our region today and next few days. This means the sunny, hot days will continue. We're forecasting 97 today, up around 99 tomorrow and Thursday. We'll likely see a few 100-degree readings mixed in today, here is the area forecast:

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: It's going to stay hot into next week. But models do show the upper ridge moving east late this week into the weekend. A minor disturbance may move this way, which could bring some rain to the region. At this point it's too far out for anything promising. Both the GFS and European models build the ridge back next week, which means more sunny and hot weather is expected.

Rudy will have an update to the forecast later today. I hope you have a great day!
