The dry and hot conditions will continue for one more day as a high pressure system dominates much of the region. It will bring a low tomorrow near 70 and a high in the mid 90s with sun and just a light breeze from the south at 10 to 15 mph.

The changes arrive throughout the day on Friday as that high pushes east and is replaced by a low pressure moving in from the south. Moisture and clouds will increase south to north throughout the day bringing the rain chances along with it. Models are agreeing the rain chance starting in the afternoon for our far southern and western counties.

Models are also agreeing on that chance for rain lasting through Saturday evening, the heaviest being early Saturday. We should see some sun mixed in with the rain and clouds for Friday and Saturday and we want to stress this rain chance still being slight, but it is there.

Along with the possibility of rain, that low and the moisture it brings will cool us off a bit towards 90 for Friday and the upper 80s for Saturday.

The low will push north and east throughout Saturday and another high pressure will take over, bringing back the dry and hot weather. Highs will be back in the mid 90s for Sunday and upper 90s for the start of the work week.

I will be filling in on the News at Nine for Rudy for the rest of the week and beginning part of next week while he is on vacation.
