The weather story isn't too complicated this week. A high pressure system has set up just to our west over the Rocky Mountains. All that means for us here on the South Plains is that we'll see very calm weather and tranquil conditions. That high only continues to amplify into the work week and it will hang around at least through Friday.

High temperatures tomorrow will start in the mid 60s and get into the mid 90s with sunny skies and a light breeze from the east southeast around 10 to 20 mph. Monday will be almost the same, maybe with a slightly lighter breeze.

Temperatures will level off in the upper 60s for mornings and low 90s in the afternoons by Tuesday and stay there through Friday as that high pressure lingers. Rain chances aren't looking too good until maybe the weekend, with the word maybe being stressed.
