A breezy cold front arrives early Christmas morning, with it we could get a few clouds, but other than that and a slight cool down for Christmas, it won't do too much. The low will be in the mid 20s with a chance for some freezing fog. We will get up into the upper 40s for a high. Breezy in the morning but wind will calm down pretty quick making for a nice, sunny Christmas for the South Plains.
If you are doing any traveling in the next couple of days, weather around the region will be pleasant and pretty easy traveling.
Christmas will be the coldest day of the week, we should warm up quick for Thursday with a low once again in the mid 20, but a high in the mid 50s. Sunshine and the mid 50s will carry over into Friday, even warmer on Saturday, getting into the low 60s with sunny skies.
The next significant cold front will likely get here early Sunday and it will cool us off into the 40s again for next week. Rain chances with this front are not looking good, dry and sunny will be the big story for the next seven days.
Enjoy the tranquil, pleasant weather for the holiday week and have a lovely Christmas! Don't forget to watch the News at Nine tonight!
