It's been hot the last couple of days, and we've got another similar day tomorrow. We'll start off above average in the low 50s tomorrow morning, then get all the way up the the upper 80s again. Mostly sunny skies throughout the day, but winds will be picking up in the afternoon, coming from the southwest at 20 to 25 mph, and gusts even stronger.

A low pressure system developing to the west is what will be causing the strong winds, and they'll be even stronger on Tuesday as the pressure gradient continues to tighten when the low gets closer. Tuesday once again starts off mild, in the low 50s, but cooler air starts to funnel in later in the day. We'll have mostly sunny skies and a high in the low 70s.

The low will drag a cold front through West Texas near the midnight hour bringing us a change for some light, scattered rain and maybe even some thunderstorms. That chance lingers into early Wednesday morning but it will start to clear up pretty quick.

Wednesday will show the full blow of the cold front, dropping us into the low 30s, maybe even the upper 20s. It's still a little up in the air for an afternoon high, but as of now it's looking like the mid 50s. Maybe cooler or warmer depending on the amount of sun we see, but the northerly winds at 15 to 20 mph won't help our temperatures.

Wind shifts on Thursday and we'll start to see a gradual warm up with the help of some sunshine. Starting off in the low 30s and getting into the upper 60s and mid 70s by Friday. Next weekend is so far looking to be pleasant and warm.
