Sunshine and southwest winds will pull in the warm air for your Christmas Eve, creating unseasonable warm weather. We will begin the day cool because of the clear skies. There could also be some patchy fog overnight tonight if the wind holds off. But it will pick up pretty quickly tomorrow morning and afternoon to near 15 to 20 mph. The warmth arrives in the afternoon with a high in the upper 50s.

Christmas Day
Santa will be fighting a breezy cold front early Christmas morning, but don't be too worried. The front shouldn't slow Santa or your holiday plans down too much. It will be a dry front with the most moisture being a few clouds early with the wind calming down by mid morning.

The low will be near 25. Most of the clouds will fall apart in the afternoon behind the front for another sunny day, but slightly cooler with a high in the upper 40s and northeast winds at 5, maybe up to 15 mph.

The dry and sunny weather remains for the entire week as an upper level ridge takes over and that will contribute to a quick warm-up into the low 50s by Thursday, mid 50s for Friday and upper 50s for the start of the weekend. Lows will hover in the mid to upper 20s, right near average.

There is the possibility for a stronger front come Sunday morning. Right now it is also looking to be dry, maybe a few clouds. But it could drop us back into the 40s and bring breezy conditions to the area. We will keep an eye on it.

I'm in for Rudy on the News at Nine tonight, join us then!
