Today turned out to be a lot like yesterday although the wind was a bit stronger with some locations reporting wind speeds up to 25mph. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

We will see similar conditions the rest of the work week although a gradual increase of moisture will warm our morning lows by a few degrees. A dryline will move across the area on Thursday giving us breezy conditions plus a slight chance for rain. Most of the moisture will pool just off the edge of the Caprock across the Rolling Plains and when the dryline enters this area we could see a few showers form. The chances still don’t look that great though so we have left them off of the seven day weather planner but it is something to keep in mind.

Breezy conditions will continue on Friday as a weak cold front moves through and eventually clears the area on Saturday. This front will hardly cool us down but it will push all the good moisture to the south and east of us. This is important because another upper-level disturbance looks to move overhead at the beginning of next week. If the front does not clear the area and moisture stays in place then we could see a decent chance for rain however the farther south/southeast the front moves the less likely our chances for rain will be.

I hope you had a great day! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Matt will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
