The story today was a cold front that moved through, giving us a big north to south temperature spread in the afternoon.

Breezy north winds will continue this evening, helping to cool us off rather quickly. If you have any plans this evening, don’t let the warm afternoon temperatures fool you, it will be chilly, especially once the sun sets. Here is a look at the current temperatures.

Winds should calm by Saturday morning, and under mostly cloudy skies temperatures will start off in the low to mid 20s. Clouds will start to thin out by the afternoon but temperatures only warm to the upper 40s and lower 50s.

We are back in the 60s at the start of next week with several days of breezy to windy conditions. There are still no signs of rain in our forecast.

I hope you have a great weekend! Start it off right with me tonight on the News at Nine. Matt is filling in for Chase tomorrow and I will fill in for him on Sunday.
